Prisoner Back in Custody

At approximately 8.15pm on Monday, 11 May, a search team of prison officers, operating in conjunction with the RCIPS, apprehended escaped prisoner James Orville Ebanks in Bodden Town.

He was returned to HMP Northward and subsequently handed over to the police. He is currently being questioned by police officers at the Central Police Station. Commissioner of Corrections and Rehabilitation, Dr. William Rattray and Deputy Commissioner of Police Anthony Ennis thanked all police and prison officers for their diligent work over the past three days.
