The Electrical Board of Examiners (EBE) has set application deadlines and test dates for the electrical wireman’s and the electrician’s trade exams.
For both exams, the application and test dates are:

The EBE considers applications to sit these exams during its regular meetings, held on the second Tuesday of each month.
The application fee for either exam is CI$25, payable to the Cayman Islands Government. Application forms are available at www.planning.gov.ky and the Planning Department’s Building Control Unit (BCU).
For electrical wireman candidates, the exams will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Planning Department, Leeward One, Regatta Office Park, West Bay Road.
Meanwhile, all of the electrician’s trade exams will be held from 8 a.m. to noon at Innovative Management & Professional Training, Alissta Towers Unit 201, 85 North Sound Road. In order to sit this exam, applicants must also pay a second fee of US$60, payable only with a US currency money order to the International Code Council.
