US Consul General David Stone paid his first official visit to the Cayman Islands last week.
Mr. Stone took up duties last September at the US Embassy in Jamaica. Cayman falls under his consular jurisdiction and he anticipates visiting here at least twice each year to meet with government officials and United States citizens resident in the Cayman Islands.
His career with the U.S. Department of State has included service in Mexico, Trinidad and Tobago, Yemen, Kenya and Cuba.
