During May residents will have a chance to gather information on NHDT ownership possibilities.

The National Housing Development Trust (NHDT) will be hosting a series of community meetings during May to build awareness of its home-ownership programmes.

The meetings begin on Monday, 2 May and will run until 12 May. They are being held under the theme Building Quality Communities, One Affordable Home at a Time. Interim Managing Director Janet James said the Trust will use the meetings to provide the public with information on the home-ownership options on offer, and how to access services.

“We know that many persons will be interested in learning how to qualify for home loans, so we will guide them on NHDT criteria, as well as on how the Trust partners with banks to give potential applicants access to financing. We are looking forward to the interaction with the community because there is much to learn about the programmes we offer,” Ms. James said.

The National Housing Development Trust’s District Meetings will all start at 6:30p.m., as follows:
• Monday, 2 May - Bodden Town Civic Centre
• Wednesday, 4 May - Mary Miller Memorial Hall
• Thursday, 5 May - Sir John A. Cumber Primary
• Wednesday, 11 May - East End Civic Centre
• Thursday, 12 May - Craddock Ebanks Civic Centre
