The Department of Immigration is advising the public of increased fees for Cayman Islands visitor and student visas.

Effective Monday 18 January, the non-refundable administrative filing fee for a visitor’s visa will move to $92, up from $48. This applies to all visitor’s visas issued by the Grand Cayman visa office, as well as those issued by our visa offices in Honduras and Jamaica.

The non-refundable administrative filing fee for student visas will also rise to $92, increasing from $50. However, the $200 repatriation fee which is applied to student visa applications will remain unchanged.

Members of the public may visit the department’s website, www.immigration.gov.ky, for a list of countries for which a visitor’s visa to enter the Cayman Islands is required. Alternatively, the main office may be contacted on 949-8344, for more information.
