Nominations for the 2010 Governor’s Five Star Award for Customer Excellence (FACE) are all in, with winners set to be announced during a formal Government House ceremony on Saturday, 19 February.
The campaign raked in 80 individual nominations for 61 civil servants from across the three islands, including a mixture of management, administrative and technical staff.
In addition to individual nominees, this year’s programme featured a brand-new category. Departments could submit team entries to show how they have made customer service an important part of their business.
In this category, submissions were received from Immigration, Environmental Health, Vehicle and Driver’s Licensing and the Cadet Corps.
The FACE honour programme was launched in 2007 as an ongoing initiative to encourage, motivate and support all civil servants.
