Education Minister, Hon. Rolston Anglin, JP, spends some time with students at George Town Primary School on International Literacy Day.

Education, Training and Employment Minister, the Hon. Rolston Anglin, JP, spent a few moments of his day reading with George Town Primary School Year 4 and 5 students on Thursday, 8 September.

His visit was part of his yearly tradition for International Literacy Day, which is observed annually on 8 September.

The Minister read a short story titled Is It Time Grandfather? by Wendy Lohse to the eager primary school class. He then discussed the story and the importance of literacy with his audience.

While he did that, Ministry Chief Officer Mary Rodrigues spent her morning similarly with a Year 2 class at Savannah Primary School.
