The Marine Conservation Board reminds the public that provisional spear gun licenses are no longer valid.
People with these provisional licenses must get a proper identification license before the end of the year.
Beyond the 31 December 2009 deadline, no replacement identification licenses will be granted, and previous provisional license holders will not be licensed by the Board.
Licensing will be done on Thursdays and Fridays and applicants must call 949-8469 to schedule an appointment.
