Acting Premier the Hon. Juliana O’Connor-Connolly, JP, with 11-year-old Cayman Brac swimmer Martha Rivers and her mother, Ann Jackson (R). Martha met with the Minister before boarding her flight to Jamaica to compete in the Karl Dalhouse Swim Meet.

Eleven-year-old Caymanian swimmer Martha Rivers recently met with Deputy Premier the Hon. Juliana O’Connor-Connolly, JP in the Owen Roberts International Airport’s VIP Lounge.

Martha, who hails from Cayman Brac, was on her way to Jamaica to compete in the Karl Dalhouse Memorial Swim Meet. She was accompanied by her mother, Ann Jackson.

Congratulating her and wishing her well in the competition, Mrs. O’Connor-Connolly said that she was confident that the young swimmer would do Cayman proud.
