Join us as we visit Water Authority crews on-site as they lay the last few segments of pipes into the new Bodden Town waterline. We talk to the project manager to find out why these works are vital to securing a consistent and adequate water supply to the eastern districts. Also, learn where teams will be digging next as part of the Water Authority’s ten-year expansion plan.
Then we return to the office to explore Government Information Services’ progressive new website www.gis.ky. Listen in as a design staff member explains the concept, while others tell how they use the site -- and other online tools -- to inform and stay in touch with the public.
Finally, we talk to National Gallery curator Natalie Coleman on the latest exhibition, 21st Century Cayman. Opening on Thursday, 25 February, this showing celebrates Cayman’s heritage by merging traditional craft with contemporary art. Tune in as we talk to local artists such as Nasaria Suckoo-Chollette, Gordon Solomon, Wray Banker and Deal Ebanks on art’s ability to connect us to the past.
