All government offices, including statutory authorities and government-owned companies, will have temporarily reduced staffing levels tomorrow (Thursday, 6 August), from 4 p.m. until close of business.
This will allow members of the civil service to attend an important Cayman Islands Civil Service Association meeting about current financial situation. The public is requested to schedule their business before 4 p.m. tomorrow, if possible, in order to minimise any delays.
Chief Secretary and Head of the Civil Service, the Hon. Donovan Ebanks, MBE, JP, apologises for any inconvenience this may cause, and appreciates the public’s understanding so that this extraordinary meeting may be facilitated.
