The general telephone lines at the Passport Office are temporarily out of service.
Members of the public trying to get through to the office are advised to call the Immigration Department switch board on 949-8344, extension 2056 or the Passport Office reception on 244-2273.
Passport Office officials say work to fix the problem is underway and regret any inconvenience caused.
