The Department of Commerce and Investment (DCI) will host a two-hour business financing workshop on Monday, 30 January. The workshop will provide an overview on how to secure financing.
Attendance fee is $5 for the workshop to be held from 5.30-7.30 p.m. at the DCI Boardroom in Cayman Corporate Centre on Hospital Road.
Open to small and medium business owners, entrepreneurs and business managers, the workshop will cover topics including:
• Factors influencing a lender when reviewing loan applications;
• Overview on preparing a loan package and qualifying for a loan; and
• Lender’s requirements including purpose, amount, duration and repayment of loan; possible collateral; and provision of personal guarantee.
